Alaina’s Bake Shoppe & Cafe`.  And yes, I’m giving her a pass on the Shoppe thing.  It’s just that good. 

I have written previously about Alaina’s but I took the folks there for lunch today so I feel compelled to update.  I have wanted to sample the quiche for some time, but as it’s made and served fresh, I often arrive after the quiche is all gone.  So when it was available today, I made the easy choice.  Today’s quiche featured tomatoes, caramelized onions, and three different cheeses.  It was accompanied by a house salad of mixed greens, tomatoes, shredded romano cheese, and julienned apple with a balsamic vinaigrette. 

The entire lunch was so amazing and delicious I found myself doing the ‘yummy-happy-booty-dance’ usually reserved for when Mr. R. makes me his famous pan-seared mahi.  Obviously, after lunch I treated everyone to Alaina’s fresh bakery desserts.  The doctor says I don’t get enough chocolate butter cream in my diet.  *wink*

Bottom line–if you’re anywhere close to Military Trail and Northlake Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens, GO TO ALAINA’S.  It’s that good.
