I love this quote! There’s such freedom in embracing your inner geek-itude.
So what if I can discuss in minute detail the differences between House Targaryen and House Lannister? And yes, I can quote lines from Raising Arizona or The Big Lebowski (or practically any other Coen brothers movie). Is it bad that I can recite from memory the dialogue from Python sketches like Dead Parrot or The Spanish Inquisition? I think not. Mr. R. finds me hilarious and he shares my weird sense of humor, if not my obsessive love for the Coens or the Pythons. I’d rather be silly with him any day than try to impress someone by being less than myself.
Being an adult is way overrated, anyway. What do you say, fellow geeks?
