It’s Saturday again. Here in the States we’re less than a week away from Thanksgiving. I’m looking at a two-day work week, yahoo!!
Regarding Mr. R.’s job, we’re still waiting to hear. Fingers are still crossed. Mad thanks to Rita, slavetasha, and freeingexcaliber for their dedication to things crossed. 🙂
For tonights’s serenade, I’ve chosen 500 Miles by The Proclaimers. I love this fun, quirky little song. It’s about a guy who’s completely in love with someone, a date night song if I ever heard one. When I checked the lyrics I found a word that baffled me so I looked it up. Apparently, haver is Scottish for to babble foolishly.
Sounds like a man in love. Just ask Mr. R. about the day he took me to the beach and proposed. It still makes me smile.
